Fat Dragon Games Releases 3D Print At Home Game World War Tesla
January 25, 2018 by stvitusdancern
It was about to happen sooner or later, that we would start to see 3D printable games that anyone could print from home. Fat Dragon Games has done just that with their Sci-fi game World War Tesla.
World War Tesla™ is a 15mm scale alternate-history wargame by James M. Ward (author of TSR’s Gamma World, Deities & Demigods, and Metamorphis Alpha) and Thomas A. Tullis, where Nikola Tesla’s more radical ideas such as death rays and force fields have come to fruition, changing the face of a world at war.
Giant walking tanks, soldiers with rocket-packs, and flying machines armed with death rays rule the battlefield!
World War Tesla™ is the forefront of print-at-home wargaming. Say goodbye to the days of spending massive amounts of money to even have a small army to play a wargame, with World War Tesla™ even the largest vehicle can be printed for less than a dollar.
All 3D printer .stl files for vehicles, troops, accessories, and even some terrain are provided, so there is no limit on how large your armies grow.
The game is available now for download from Wargame Vault here. If you are looking for a low cost (assuming you already have a 3D printer) entry into a Sci-fi game then this might just be what you are looking for.
Are you ready for the 3D printer revolution?

Played this game at GaryCon (lake Geneva Wisconsin) last year, it was entertaining and the miniatures are quite nice for being 3d printed
Speaking of GaryCon, this is a somewhat local convention that BoW’s US corespondents should cover. All the legends of early gaming are there, and who can resist playing a game with the Gygaxs or a game that of Dungeon on the game table from Gary’s basement.
Are the pictures representative of the actual models?
It should be – as far as I can see the bottom image is actual models. Of course with 3d printing you’ll almost always get some print artefacts – largely depending on how well set up your printer is. No doubt the photos in the article were made with the best print setup the company has access to!
Uuuuuh… Ray Punk <3
Some nice interesting robots their.
Yea, the bottom image is actual models.
How much is a 3D printer?
Ask @warzan how much his has cost him……
