Zealot Miniatures’ Minotaur Range Goes Up For Pre-Order
January 30, 2019 by brennon
Zealot Miniatures has now begun taking pre-orders for the vast array of awesome Minotaurs that they brought to life through Kickstarter not too long ago. The entire cast of monstrous characters is available with a release date of February.
There are quite a few different sculpts included on their webstore so I've decided to focus in on just a few of them that caught my eye. The first is this Female Minotaur ready to launch that trident right into the unfortunate face of some poor fellow who dared to enter her domain.
This also marks the start of me talking about how awesome the muscle definition and detailing is on these figures. Each one has been given a real dose of raw 'power' to their appearance and you can really imagine them coming to life, roaring and bellowing our war cries on the battlefield. I mean, check out this Berserk Minotaur.
You might recognise this fellow from the work done by laughingboy here on the website. He painted up a very awesome version of this miniature for use in a diorama which you can see HERE. Once again, you can get a sense of that raw power emanating from the figure and the danger they pose to those that stand before them.
I'm fairly sure that if you were looking to create a Beastman army in Age Of Sigmar or something like Warlords Of Erehwon, this would be the place to start. The miniatures are so dynamic and look so much better than the plastic offerings by Games Workshop we're currently having to deal with.
Imagine these facing down against Stormcast Eternals in the Realm Of Beasts!
What do you make of these new Minotaurs?

Those are some stunning looking minotaurs.
Awesome minis.
Great figure’s for beast men army’s
Great stuff. Would love the mounted miniature, but I’ve boycotted these guys after three attempts to contact them. They won’t even answer a simple effing e-mail. Regrettably, I’ll pass.
that’s a real shame. I’ve actually found them great to deal with
@brushstroke How did you contact them? Through the ‘Contact’ tab on the website?
I had one of their limited edition kroot hounds stolen at my LGS (along with a bunch of other painted models), and was hoping they could replace it. I’ve asked them three times now if they would make one. I’d gladly pay whatever it’s worth. I would even accept a ‘No’ answer… but I hate being ignored.
I messaged them on their Facebook page. Got a reply the same day.
I know they’ve been maxed out with the Mino kickstarter. Now that’s finished you’ll probably have more luck.
How you manage to get a replacement mate
Thank you @brushstroke . I did get a hold of them through their Facebook page, and they actually had the leaping kroot hound model I was looking for. Got it for a steal too, so Zealot is back in my good books. Their website is ‘broken’ according to the person I spoke with, so Facebook is the way to go.
Can highly recommend these minis… I got in on the Kickstarter and have painted up one already.
Awesome minis

Nice work @brushstroke !
@cpauls1 thank you
Grabbed a couple of these on their Kickstarter as well as the shrine and they are great! I want to get more.
I really hope they’ll continue expanding their Beastmen herd too.
