Trish Carden has finished sculpting up a brand new monster miniature for the HarrowHyrst range (currently over on Footsore Miniatures & Games). See what you make of the rather excellent Forest Wyrm!

Forest Wyrm Front - Harrowhyrst

Forest Wyrm (Front) // HarrowHyrst

The Forest Wyrm is a rather impressive miniature I think you'll agree. He is made entirely of the deadfall that litters the floor of the forest and is wingless so that he can delve deep into the heart of the woods. One of the most awesome things about the sculpt is that there are actually little creatures living in all the nooks and crannies of his body!

Forest Wyrm Rear - Harrowhyrst

There are more and more things that I'm noticing about the Forest Wyrm as I stare at its knotted and twisted body. I think this would be absolutely wonderful to tackle on the painting table, especially with a mix of Contrast/Speed Paints and regular ones. This fellow has a lovely, noble face as well.

Here, you can see how the Forest Wyrm matches up against a regular 28mm miniature.

Forest Wyrm Scale - Harrowhyrst

Forest Wyrm (Scale) // HarrowHyrst

A fairly sizable beast but not so huge that it would be an utterly mammoth painting task. You could use this alongside a lot of different Fantasy armies, especially for the likes of Kings Of War and Oathmark. A fantastic miniature and I can't wait to see it pop up on the Footsore webstore for folks to snap up!
