Signum Games has released a new set of snow-bound warriors from the North for you to use in your tabletop wargames. These 32mm high-quality resin miniatures come from the range known as the Legends Of The North.

There are two bigger sets that you can pick up which give you all of the characters you'd need to start up a Norse-themed Fantasy warband on the tabletop. If you like a particular miniature though then you can also buy all of the figures you see here separately.

Within the Heroes Of The North set (seen above) you have Trond, The Giant Slayer, Harald, Lion Of The North, Astrid, Maiden Of The Shield and Magni, The Boatman. There might be a passing familiarity here to some well-known Vikings who have been raiding for the past few years on TV.

If you want to add an extra dose of the Fantastical into the mix you can also go with the Legends Of The North set.

The Legends Of The North set starts to build on your warband and give you a few options for gameplay. Maybe you'd like to have these Northern Warriors fighting alongside the heroes we showed above? You've also got Gudrun, The Proud Valkyrie, Ingvar, The Beast Tamer and finally Orm, The Stone Skin which is possibly my favourite miniature from this release.

Orm could well be used as the villain of your games and I could see these various heroes and warriors having to deal with Orm as he tries to batter his way inside your mead hall!

This looks like a fun range of miniatures for those wanting to dive into something Nordic on the tabletop but with a mega Fantasy twist. It's hard to say no to anything which is Viking themed after-all!

What do you make of these new miniatures from Signum Games?

"It's hard to say no to anything which is Viking themed after-all!"
