Plunder A Rascaltown Goblin Pirate From Rogue Hobbies
May 3, 2024 by brennon
Rogue Hobbies released a brand new goblin miniature recently that is well worth picking up if you're in need of a new painting project. The new Rascaltown Pirate can be snapped up right now from their webstore.
Rascaltown Pirate // Rogue Hobbies
The new Rascaltown Pirate was designed to match the theme for this year's Salute and is once again another brilliant piece that has been brought to life by Louise Sugden and her team. The Rascaltown range are all 3D printed resin miniatures that are made to order in-house they all get the love and attention that you'd expect when it comes to getting packed up and sent your way.

The miniature is absolutely packed with detail and looks like it would be an absolute joy to paint if you're looking to play around with lots of big, punchy colours. Each figure is a bit bigger than you might expect as well so they're not going to line up with your existing 28mm goblins. The set comes with the miniature, a 50mm plastic base and also instructions as to how you can download and print your own diorama so you can show off your miniature on a wonderful piece of terrain.

It's awesome to see the small range of Rascaltown miniatures coming to life with four of them available right now for you to scoop up. Hopefully, we get to see more of these goblins getting added to the range over the coming months exploring more corners of the Rascaltown universe.
Are you tempted by this new Rascaltown Pirate?

That is a pretty cool design.
So lets get this right, Rogue Hobbies complains about Gw when she worked for them and now she is selling one resin 3D printed figure which would cost her just over £3.00 to print and just the one figure is double the price of a GW plastic injected character model.
Frigging Hell!!! £40 is way, way over priced.
Bespoke figures ratchet up the price. Looking at 50mm scale it does come into the realm of 75mm figures and busts which don’t come cheap. Reading Amazing Figure Modeler magazine has modified my hobby cost gauge in that regard too.
Dear lord my eyes burn from the sheer color of that! Good to see a small producer kicking things out the door.
Excellent minis, Louise makes great videos, but when she left Nomad Investments, one thing she took with her was their pricing structure…….
