Pre-Order Your Wargames Atlantic Plastic Halfling Militia Now
November 4, 2019 by brennon
The new plastic Halfling Militia kit from Wargames Atlantic is now available to pre-order ahead of a December release.
The new set will allow you to make a band of forty Halflings for your skirmish and mass battle games armed with bows, slings, halberds and pikes. You'll also find options for making a full command element too including a Champion, Standard Bearer and Musician. Classic stuff.
Here is a look at the sprue which shows off the sculpting by Emel Akiah.
There is a lot of good stuff to get stuck into with this plastic set and it seems like it will be really easy to build these models. There are plenty of Fantasy games out there right now which are calling out to players and perhaps Halflings might be a nice alternative option from the norm.
I really like that with this set of Halflings we're seeing them in a new way, a bit more martial and whilst still bumpkin-esque they look like they could handle themselves when Orcs and Goblins come a-knocking on their door.
I should also mention the painting above was done by Matthew Leahy and the artwork on the front is by the esteemed Peter Dennis.
With Oathmark on the horizon could this be the start of your new Halfling army in preparation for launch?

Just trying to work out how many boxes I might need – and at £25 RRP per box, a massive army isn’t going to damage the wallet too much!
There’s an impressive range of heads – and is that a tiny cock I spy on the sprue?
Bring the clippers!
Ha! Yes
I think it´s great the only shame it´s a litle more option of arms, thinking in Kings of War
I chose a halfling sprue in as my free reward for responding to a survey (as i recall). I’m looking forward to getting them.
Can’t wait – already begging to get some as a Crimbo present
brilliant figures.
I am loving the stuff from this company, cheers OTT for introducing them…my poor wallet.
