Northumbrian Tin Soldier Bring the Daywatch to Salute
April 24, 2015 by dracs
Nothumbrian Tin Soldier are releasing a new set of their Nightfolk at Salute; the heavily armoured sentinels and protectors known as the Daywatch.
"Magically altered by the warlocks and spellcasters the Daywatch are able to keep their form during the daylight hours ( for light is an anathema to the folk of the night) protected by their magical suits of armour they are fiercely proud of their new role,( some might say arrogant even,,,)
Leading The Darkwatch against their foes - Commander Boots and Sergeant Chopper do their best to keep the protectors of the 'Nightfolk' in order....." - Northumbrian Tin Soldier
The Daywatch look like they came out of a children's book illustration. They have a great mix of cartoony, ramshackle style and armoured toughness. They're a fun release that could make for an interesting encounter in a fantasy dungeon crawl or skirmish game.
Do you think you will pick these up at Salute?

They remind me of the Goblins from the Labyrinth film
they remind me of the babe
What babe?
The babe with the power
What power?
The power of voodoo!
Now, there’s something you don’t see every day.
Very cool miniatures.
Those are really neat.
Definitely will be having a look at these tomorrow
I’d like a set of these guys, combined with some of those Ridend pieces from Tor gaming please 🙂
these are pretty great 😀
Michael Parkinson finally gets his revenge on Emu! lol
Though not entirely keen on the bent legs posture, they look really cool
Like the ones in the bottom picture where there is some nice shading on the faces
That they look like they came out of an illustrated book of fairy tales is a big plus for me.
razryr Lafayette, I can’t seem to reply directly, ahem,

Do what?
Remind me of the babe!
