MadKnight Kickstarter Brings Glory To Glorantha
July 5, 2019 by cassn
War is coming to the legendary lands of Glorantha. The lunar armies are mounting, as Earth's mightiest warriors gather their strength. Even the skies are not safe, as the great bird and his rider circle the battlefield in this latest Kickstarter from MadKnight!
Balazar Big Bird circles overhead with a rider from the Citadel of Dykene, looking for enemies of Yelmalio. Featuring a 13.5cm wingspan, and an alternate dismounted rider, Balazar Big Bird will be an impressive addition to any battle.
Meanwhile, the Lunar Lasdag Lions are an infantry regiment which worships a Lion war god. Their standard features the Regimental Wyter which supports them in battle, jumping from it's standard, growing to full size, and mauling the enemy. The army also carries a shield featuring a lions face which roars and bites at the enemy. The Lasdag Lions are a fearsome band of warriors who are blessed with the lion gods power.
Finally, the Axe Sisters are fearsome warriors dedicated to the defence of Earth's women. They hunt down those who would hurt and defile women, exacting their own brand of justice and carrying severed body parts as a warning to others.
This is MadKnight's third Glorantha Kickstarter, and features three new 28mm scale sets in a mixture of resin and white metal. Balazar Big Bird, for example, comes as a five-part resin bird and base with a metal rider and wire spear. There is also an option to add-on previous MadKnight Glorantha models to your order, such as the skeletal Troll Undead army.
Previous armies are in limited supply, however, so if your tabletop fights for the glory of Glorantha, march over to the MadKnight Kickstarter now!

Those look really good.
Interesting as I thought Rapier miniatures has the rights to produce the official Runequest/ Glorantha figures
They claim they are fully licenced, and that this is their third Glorantha miniatures crowdfunder.
great looking figures love the eagles.
Looking good. Would use these for Maybe SAGA Age of Magic or WoE
