Greyjoy Heroes & Stark Bruisers Come To A Song Of Ice & Fire
March 17, 2022 by brennon
The folks at CMON have released a bunch of additional miniatures for those playing as the Greyjoys, Night's Watch and Starks in their Fantasy games of A Song Of Ice & Fire. These have been out for a little while but hopefully, they're popping up in your FLGS at this point.
Greyjoy Heroes II // A Song Of Ice & Fire
This set comes with new miniatures to represent Asha, Tristifer, Moqorro, Dagmar Cleftjaw, Beron Blacktyde and Baelor Blacktyde. This offers up great options for using on the tabletop in the midst of a raid and nefarious diplomats and schemers to plot away in the background. As always, the CMON models are top-notch and I know a lot of people who really love picking these up just to paint, or to use in different games!
The second of the Greyjoy sets offers up a chance to introduce House Harlaw into the mix with the Harlaw Reapers.
House Harlaw Reapers // A Song Of Ice & Fire
This gives you another excellent option for an already heavily melee-focused army. They can do massive amounts of damage with their long-bladed axes (or scythes as they call them). They are very good at causing chaos in the ranks of the enemy and gain benefits from slaughtering ranks upon ranks of foes.
The Night's Watch
Switching over to the watchers on The Wall, we have the new Shadow Tower Spearmen, swaddled in their big fur cloaks.

When faced with the rampaging hordes of the Wildlings, you'll need dedicated Spearmen to work as a bulwark. The Night's Watch can now anchor your flanks and stop cavalry from outflanking you. Again, some amazing new miniatures that should be fun for people to paint.
The Starks
Finishing things off, we also have some new releases for The Starks. Here is where you can get brutal and bloody with the House Mormont Bruisers.
Mormont Bruisers // A Song Of Ice & Fire
This offers up a brand new melee-focused force that is going to be smashing its way through the enemy ranks. No heavy armour and big shields here in favour of lighter shields with added punching spikes and big maces. Go berzerk and smash your way through the enemy with a hefty unit of these at your side. I really want someone to sculpt the fellow from the artwork with all the arrows stuck in his back!
Are you going to be snapping these miniatures up for the various factions in A Song Of Ice & Fire?

Ooh fabulous looking set’s of figures.
They keep churning these out so I assume it sells well enough. It is not a game I see played of get much buzz online.
I buy everything ASOI&F from the USA these days – the delay on UK shipment and distribution is appalling.
Don’t you get stung on import duty?
I order through Amazon.com and everything is vat paid up front so no uk custom processing fees (a killer for low value items like these). Shipping is more and it is overall more expensive but not ridiculously more. I am fully up to date on everything bar baratheons (which I don’t collect). Going eBay global shipping is more expensive and I only use it to get something that Amazon doesn’t stock.
That’s good to know, thank you!.. funnily enough I play Baratheon ?
love this game but it would be a lot more popular if they could sort out their distribution to Europe. Still waiting on the updated unit cards I ordered that should’ve been here in Nov.
I was a backer of the kickstarter years back and wanted to collect everything that came, but here in Canada, I haven’t been able to get any of the starter sets since the Night’s watch and Freefolk dropped… distribution has definitely been an issue holding this game back.
