Fantastic New Elf Renders Join 4Ground’s Legends Of Fabled Realms
November 1, 2017 by brennon
4Ground recently showed off some of the new Elf Greatsword renders from The Legends Of Fabled Realms, marching forth with their dangerous dance of blades to cut down their foes.
The Elf Greatswords have been sculpted up by Edgar Skomorowski and they look fantastic. You could see them fighting like the Elves of Rivendell from Lord of the Rings and that first battle in Fellowship of the Rings.
The flowing cloaks and lines of their armour match well with the style of warrior that the Elves are on the tabletop. You get a grace and elegance from their design which matches them as a race.
I like the semi-mercenary design to their models as well, especially the fellow to the mid-left of the image above with his eyepatch. You could imagine him being quite the sellsword, using his considerable skills for a good weight in gold and silver.
Frank & Andreas
Coming at things from a decidedly different angle when it comes to a conflict we have the somewhat hapless looking Frank & Andreas of the Mordanburg State Guard.
This pair has been sculpted up by Edgar Ramos and show off both the younger and older members of the State Guard who end up having to defend the people against rampaging monsters and more.
What do you think of these new renders coming out of 4Ground for The Legends Of Fabled Realms?

Nice characterful sculpts, so nice in this day and age of rather bland “heroic” sculpts. Reminds me of the days when Mordhiem hit the shelves and the game suddenly had realistic looking figures.. So glad I backed this, and as another bonus 4Ground just announced that all 3 fig boosters are now going to be 4 figs…FREE OF CHARGE. They also announced that they have 36 months of releases planned AND that all retail stores will get a 2 week jump start before they sell direct (to help support your local brick and mortar store). This is the style of… Read more »
These look fabulous. I hope the mini’s live up to the CAD offerings.
This is a game I’m sad I had to pass on; definitely looking to pick it up in the future… the minis are breathtaking.
Frank & Andreas? Straight out of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch by the looks of them.
Well those are two KS resin minis, they are also going to do a “retail” version in both resin and plastic in a different pose (so if you can get your hands on both versions, you’ll have a regular “mob” of ineffective city guard)
In the latest video they are saying that their abilities will might be random.
So you might role up some useless drunks or some unrecognized demands in the rough.
Those are fantastic. The the character in them. This has now made me interested in the game.
I am happy I was able to get in on the Kickstarter and that I went with the Sale Swords.
Probably my favourite faction.
Beautiful sculpts, I especially like the elves. Looking forward to this coming out.
