Crush Your Foes With The Centaur Avatara Of The Spires In Conquest

Para Bellum Wargames has added a new set of miniatures to their webstore for their 35mm Fantasy wargame, Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings. The Centaur Avatara have been warped and crafted to deliver a devastating charge.

A twisted and warped version of the cavalry seen amongst the ranks of The Hundred Kingdoms, the Centaur Avatara are some of the eldest and most powerful of the Lineages. They are designed almost as a mockery of the noble knight and are of course gifted power and strength to do more than a mere human could ever achieve.
Each of the riders comes bristling with deadly blades and heavy shields to take much of the damage they would sustain on a charge. Much like the pageantry of real knights, they carry trophies of their victories and fluttering banners into battle, another way to intimidate their foes.

Miniature-wise, I think these look great. Para Bellum Wargames and their team have been doing great work on The Spires, especially with some of these larger miniatures. I like this warped and almost uncanny resemblance to something traditionally Fantasy but given a Conquest twist.
Drop them into your army as a heavy cavalry option and watch your opponents quake in fear as you prepare for a charge!
What do you make of the Centaur Avatara?

Those look very nice.
Ooh they look fantastic figures for gaming with.
Very nice, but very busy.
I missed the hind legs in the first image shown because of all the other dangly bits. Hence I thought I was looking at a mohawked guy with tiny feet going for a stroll…
I might have to grab these for my wife’s Spire army.
Of course, that may put my Hundred Kingdoms at a disadvantage.
So, should I be a good husband and buy her these or pretend that I have yet to know about them? hummmmmm
I like elements of these, but they’re the first Spire models I haven’t loved. They are very busy.
