Quirky Unlimited are a new collective working to bring the work of art_veider to life on painting tables and beyond. Food Fight is a new range of 32mm miniatures based on their artwork that is a little bit different from the norm.

Food Fight - Quirky Unlimited

Food Fight // Quirky Unlimited

Quirky Unlimited's first collection is going to be focused on a fight between different foot types. There are desserts, vegetables and fruit clashing on the tabletop. The focus has been on taking a particular food type and then giving it a Fantasy twist.

For example, here is the Hot Dog Necromancer...

This piece of artwork has then been turned into a miniature by the talented GRAF. As you can see, a pretty spot-on digital take on the artwork from art_veider.

Another of my favourite art pieces was for another caster, the French Fries Warlock.

What was particularly cool here is that the miniature/render features the eldritch signs that the character in the artwork is casting. It's a neat touch and should lead to some fun times playing around with object source lighting!

Loads of art pieces from the art_veider collection have been converted into miniature over the last while. Here is a look at more of what they have been working on...

There is plenty of character and fun worked into these sculpts and they should be a nice alternative option for people to paint. Big, bold comic book colours are going to look great with this range. If you're interested in how these miniatures are turning out when they get printed, see what you make of the work by Yann Taniou of Octopus Workshop.

Some great prints and it bodes well for folks looking forward to printing these off at home. STL Files are planned for the near future with the potential of physical releases beyond that. It's certainly a fun and inventive range that could grow and grow!

Which Food Fight character are you liking the best so far?
