Make Camp In 4Ground’s Broggenbridge Terrain For Fabled Realms
May 14, 2017 by brennon
4Ground have given us a look ahead to some of the terrain that is going to be part of their upcoming Kickstarter for The Legends Of Fabled Realms. Here we have some of the ramshackle housing that comes together to create Broggenbridge.
First, you might be wondering, just what on earth is Broggenbridge?
"Broggenbridge has existed since After Year of Iron 739. Comprising of part of the remains of the ruined city of Daldorr, Broggenbridge was built on the carcase of the city on the western side of the Ruga River. The city is connected to the old abandoned city via the Bridge. This massive stone construction spans the Ruga River and has been replaced in the middle with wooden pilings.
The buildings of Broggenbridge are mainly built on the ruins of buildings. They look like a mismatch of stone block walls and arches with any parts that are missing from the ruined building being replaced by Fellendorf Pine planks.
The people of Broggenbridge vary with a large part of the population made up of treasure hunters and adventurers as well as the infrastructure to support their expeditions into the City of Daldorr."
So as you can see the people have come to reclaim some of the ruins and buildings in their search of treasures and more in the ruins of this once great landscape. We think this is looking rather epic and a fantastic way to build more character into the Fabled Realms on the tabletop.
It makes total sense for the people to do this and reminds me of the idea of Crease from Joe Abercrombie's Red Country.
The guys from 4Ground are going to be with us next week talking all about Fabled Realms and more besides. As a heads up right now they told us that this terrain will be part of stretch goals in their campaign and there will be plenty more where that came from too.
3D Maps!
To give you an idea of the world of Fabled Realms TheTerrainTutor, Mel, is also going to be building a massive 3D map of the world based on this...
...so that is one hell of a mammoth undertaking but we can't wait to see what he gets done for this.
Are you excited for Fabled Realms?

It looks brilliant, a must have as far as I’m concerned.
