Adrian’s Walls Crafts A Land Of Ruins For Frostgrave
February 8, 2016 by brennon
Adrian's Walls (which is a superb name incidentally) have produced a whole range of Frozen City Frostgrave terrain in resin which comes in a pre-painted shades of grey to enable you to almost get it right onto the tabletop...
Here we have one of the larger pieces that they offer which is a huge Skull Shrine which should dominate a section of the tabletop. I love the rough hewn steps cut into the side. As well as that we have some smaller pieces of terrain which are no less impressive.
We have the Dead Kings Statues and a well which is terrifying in its own right. The Oracle Well actually does come with the water effect look to it. I would not want to make a wish and flick a coin into there. I would be afraid of what would be coming out!
Last but not least we have some more typical ruins with the Ruined Battlements giving you the impression of how grand the city was before its fall. I always love a bit of elevation so it's good to see so much of it present in the terrain.
I think this is a great set and it offers a whole lot of variety for someone wanting to really deck out a board quickly and get playing. Price-wise I would say they are about right too in my opinion.
What do you think?

just love this scenery it looks brilliant.
The massive skull’s not really my cup of tea but the rest of it looks ace. I’m jumping on the Frostgrave bandwagon as soon as the British weather lets me out for a spot of priming, so this is superb timing!
The skull is definitely a statement piece, sort of like a purple sofa in the middle of your living room. People are either gonna love it or hate it. I personally love it as long as the baord you are going for is not “realistic”. I think it would make a great objective. I can just see some baddie hiding inside.
Awesome terrain pieces!
They look nice, but I would prefer them unpainted and slightly cheaper.
Honestly, painting up stonework ain’t that hard.
Some nice stuff there, will check out
I like the well the most but can see the ruins being of more use in my case.
I think you broke their website. It worked the first time and now I can’t get on to buy 🙁
That skull reminded me of the scene in Conan the Destroyer where they get the horn of Dagoth.
