New Medieval Terrain Sets from Ziterdes
March 9, 2012 by brennon
Ziterdes have got a whole lot of new terrain pieces to adorn your battlefields with. Fit for many different uses, check them out below and see what you think...
The chests and cages could be very useful as objectives for a certain game of piratical fantasy mayhem. As for the rest, I'm sure wargamers across the board will find a place for them on their battlefield. The key with these is that they are just detailed enough to mean painting them is a joy rather than a chore.
Would you pick up any of these pieces?
So much potential here, but the cages stand out for me as something I haven’t seen before. Sure you can use them in Cutlass or Freebooter’s Fate, but I was thinking of putting zombies into them as part of a ‘cursed city’ VC-themed board rather than as rotting warnings to pirates.
The tent also gives me an idea – for the Bretonnian player who wants a little something extra for his display board at (well, next year’s) Adepticon it would be great to place next to your army’s general.
Quite
The cages could make for some interesting objectives/scenarios.
Free your mate from the clutches of the jolly rotters wot nabbed him.
Liking the windmill too.
Every time I see a windmill I think of Army of Darkness or Van Helsing. Would make a good spooky hideout/tower on a battlefield or for roleplay with a little work done to make it look a little more ‘derelict’ perhaps.
Everytime I see a windmill I think of Trumpton! lol
