Wyrd Miniatures’ Malifaux Dungeons, Avatars, and More!
June 12, 2012 by brennon
Wyrd Miniatures have really pushed the boat out in the Run up to GenCon with a plethora of different models and other gaming accessories for Malifaux which you can indulge in. Check it all out below...
First up are some of the model releases which you can see above. I have to say two of them really jump out at me right away. Namely the Avatar of Imagination which is just incredibly weird and wonderful and the Slate Ridge Mauler which I just automatically assumed "would make a good Bugbear!"
There's also some more printed material on the way from Wyrd Miniatures. This comes in the shape of the new 1.5 version of the rules and a plastic Fate Deck meaning that they will be a lot more hard wearing. So if you were hoping to get into Malifaux this could be the right time to do so.
Especially when you see these new sets from Terraclips. Those are some awesome Dungeon boards which will certainly take your adventures to completely new levels. There are plenty of fantastic things you can make with these sets and it allows your imagination to flow just as much as Malifaux itself does.
So with all this from Wyrd Miniatures are you turned to the world of Malifaux?

Once again wyrd does a good job with it’s minis!
Even though i already have 4 puppet decks (to use as my fate deck), How can i say no to going down town with a sweet lookin’ fate deck!?
Can’t wait for the new rulebook too… July is going to be good!
I love how twisted the idea of a faceless toothy beast in a dress is, but better than the Weaver Widow for me is definitely the Avatar of Imagination. That just epitomises the idea of a fearsome bogeyman coming through your bedroom door from God-knows-where, the ‘portal’ effect is fantastic. Lovely sculpts here. The Terraclips stuff also stands out – these new sets look to improve on those first release sewer tiles and are full of fantasy awesome. They’ll be perfect for D&D and the rich and different set colours will really help set the mood, though mixing tiles from… Read more »
Wow. After some frankly uninspiring models, this month’s releases are very good. The weaver and dreamer are both stunningly executed and slag bear is just cute.
sigh…yet another version of the rulebook. Thankfully the game is pretty awesome
The figs look ok too.
The terraclips stuff looks awesome…not sold on the plastic clips however, but the tiles are full of fab artwork
Keep it up guys. That’s what I talk about, great models.
I don’t really want to get into Malifaux (I spend enough money on the games I already play), but every once in a while they release a sculpt that triggers my shiny object obsession syndrome. That sleeper is awesome. Luckily for me, I couldn’t possibly paint it that well with my current skills so I can resist the urge. Those Terraclips sets are great to see too. I was starting to worry since Worldworks hasn’t really said much since the first three sets were released. I’d say the Vaults of Ruin one is the best of the three, but seeing… Read more »
Avatar Dreamer looks better than I thought it might and the rest of the models are spot on for their art. I might have to pass on the rulebook, already have two versions of the original and the handy compendium/companion. Terraclips never did it for me, only because of me seeing the unimpressive originals (fixed I know), though the new showings do pop.
The terraclips look good and I would like a set for my son and i but I need a decent game for them. We normally play Space Hulk.
Is there anything that would suit these sets thats at a similar skill level?
