January 20, 2012 by darrell
The Green Prophet has been lying neglected for a few years, but now that he’s revitalitised by the power of the Beasts of Waaagh, what will he be like in the new Orcs & Goblins army book? Warren and Darrell blow the cobwebs of this awesome greenskin shaman and see what he can do, in this new edition.
yehhhh
….oh…..so he is pants then
Hi guys, great review on the prophet! It is expensive and it is a bit, lets say “unstable” but how more orcy can a shaman be? I think that this character is made just for the sake of giving the battle more a theme. I picture this: Wurzzag casts foot of Gork and on the second stomp it lands on a friendly unit. He says hell with magic lets charge the steam tank! Its stupid I know, but thats how savage orcs are! I wont get it to win a battle but I would surely get it to have a… Read more »
I don’t think Wurzzag is bad at all. A normal lvl 4 savage orc shaman is 305 pts (fully geared), and considering the “bad” arcane items there are in the BRB, Wurzzag has two nice items that helps him in the magic phase (re-roll miscasts results & power dice storage) His ability to re-roll miscasts is a BIG deal and his magic resistance (3) will provide his savage orc unit with a 3+ ward save vs all spells that cause wounds. Power dice storage can be used to give an additional dice in your dispel dice pool, an if you… Read more »
hahahaha what happend with GW ??? Why do they think Wurrbling will sell? I agree with you BoW…. This is just becoming stupid….
Even the the entertaining part of fielding the mad one is going to burn out pretty damn quickly.
Personally I dont even put special characters on the table… They all are either too expencive or they have a downside that just makes it dumb…
Nope; make your own from basic lords/heroes and youll be much better off.
High five for your total slaughter of lameass products 😀
well….Wurzag Wurzag……is expensive…no doubt….the revenge spell….only 6?!!…come one…..the only think is good of this shaman is the Bonewood staff….magic resistetance of 3
the only way I put Wurzag is a big zavage orc unit with another shaman (Lv2) with the lucky shrunked head….so the unit have 5+ ward (2+ ward vs magic)…and wurzag gain 4+ward…but again a lot of points!!!
Must have Wurzag when facing Tzeentch deamons army… unit (or preferably horde) that “is” a wizard turns into squiggy thing sounds like insane fun:)
I dont see why frenzy is such a bad thing. You are palying orcs. If your oponent has enough ‘distraction’ units to get your savages out of the way you are probbibly gonna want to charge them anyway. You are an orc! You just want to charge!
oh and, you dont miscast on double ones..
Hey! Do Tamurkhan next! Please?
