This Week Fat Dragon Take Us Into the Mines of the Mountain King
September 9, 2013 by dracs
This week Fat Dragon Games will be releasing their latest set of paper terrain, taking you deep into the dark Mines of the Mountain King.
Made possible with crowd funding from Kickstarter, this new paper terrain set will expand upon Fat Dragon's already existing Halls of the Mountain King set.
Terrain sets like this can really enhance your gaming experiences, placing your miniatures in a grand setting which you can physically explore and use as the game's events unfold.
Do you think terrain can help RPGs or are they superfluous?

I like what I have seen. It looks fantastic. A great thing for any tabletop.
Personally I do not use such a thing in my RPGs, thinking that it does not enhance but hinders the immersion into the world. My Friends and I prefer to have it all in the head of the players.
Those look great.
I agree with murgel. Rpg should be explored in the mind. I would only use terrain for a grand mêlee.
