November 3, 2011 by dracs
CoolMiniOrNot have released the third wave of Confrontation figures. Take a look at these new offerings.
Drac Mac Syro
The Fiannas
Molochs
Dirz Wyrm
As usual for Confrontation these are some truly impressive miniatures. I particularly like Molochs.

I don’t much care for seafood myself Sam.
Oh sorry thought you said Molluscs 😛
Agreed. The Moloch would be my pick too.

In fantasy games dragons and big birds only ever hold their wings out fully extended and horizontal to the ground lol
I think the Dirz Wyrm is a unrealesed model or one that never hit production.
Only grip I have is price and that you have to buy sets just to get that one mini you really want. Come on guys lower it and have it you can pick up what you wish outside of buying a boxset.
Looking at their limited numbers of these releases the previous ones probably arent making a big return of cash. I bet if they lowered the price to a reasonable amount more people would pick up these beauties.

Here’s hoping we can at least get some sort of starter set for all of the main factions for a reasonable price. Charging a high ticket price as they do for these minis with no game support, no proper game to play limits the field to painters/modellers and people who want to spruce up armies with unique figures. The problem with the former group is there are more affordable and excellent quality… Read more »
There was some remastering and repair work to be done on the moulds Legacy got as I recall, but I think you’re right. Time will tell, but for now I guess the GW argument rules here, since Confrontation is as much a prestige brand as Warhammer at least nowadays:
“Do you like the model? Right – pay up.”
