Warhammer Forge’s Mourngul Is Out and Hungry for Flesh
November 28, 2012 by dracs
If you thought the cannibalistic ghouls were a terrifying prospect than you will quake in fear at Warhammer Forge's new Mourngul.
Spite, desperation and malice force these thrice-damned creatures to linger beyond death, the most insidious and destructive winds of magic coiling about them to warp and twist their cadavers into inhuman proportions. Soon they become something neither ghost nor revenant – a Mourngul; a monstrous razor-thin shadow of cold flesh and cracked bone with a gaping maw of needle-teeth and a cavernous stomach that hangs open like a dreadful wound. - Warhammer Forge
These dreadful cannibalistic spirits could be harnessed by a powerful necromancer or Vampire count using the powers of a Storm of Magic, allowing them to direct their hunger towards their enemies.
Yes Ben, this thing could eat one of your dwarfs in a single gulp. I doubt it would like the taste of my Lizardmen though, scales get stuck in the teeth.

erm… Cavernous tummy?
At the moment it is an empty back
He could do with having it stitched up to stop food falling out.
Wouldn’t feel so hungry all the time then.
I actually quite like it, it’s weird and folklore-ish – quite imaginative.
I like the use of another model (the horse) as a means to make the model look like its in mid air. This is when like the models from GW and FW the most. When they think outside the box.
