Vesper-On Reveal Their Painted Baba Yaga For Carnevale
June 24, 2013 by brennon
We saw this lovely lady during the fundraiser for Carnevale and now the Baba Yaga has arrived in all her painted glory. Check her out below on her blood filled perch...
This stunning old lady from Slavic folklore has been painted by Angel Terol and he's done a grand job I'd say. The Baba Yaga is a strange forest dwelling being who can either help or hinder those that cross her path.
Because of this ambiguity the Baba Yaga has been seen as both a donor (someone who challenges the hero to overcome a situation) or as a villain threatening the hero. She certainly is an odd lady and the mortar and pestle filled with blood points in a very definitive direction wouldn't you say?
Will you be using her?

Hands up all those that hummed Mussorgsky when they see this model? lol
Really like this sculpt although there is far too much blood for the squeamish (ie me)
Thats a magnificent pose and over all look.
