Vesper On Joins With Craft Plast Games to Build the Streets of Venice
March 4, 2013 by dracs
Vesper On have announced that they will be joining with Plast Craft Games to create a range of scenery to help you get gaming in the streets of Venice.
In the past scenery has probably been the biggest obstacle when it comes to playing Carnevale so it is so good to see that a terrain range is finally coming.

I’ve never heard of plast craft games until now.
I clicked on the link and they do a lot of feudal Japanese buildings which as a subject matter tend to be quite expensive from other manufacturers. At first glance these look very reasonable.
So I’m glad to hear they are teamed up with vesper on. Carnevale is a game that demands good scenery.
As long as the price is right…
OK just look it up and this is a company that sets a good bargain for all sorts of stuff. Now I don’t see the Carnevale terrain yet but I’ll keep an eye on them. Good find guys. I never knew of them.
In considering various skirmish games (Bushido, Carnevale & Mercs) I’ve been looking for some good all round, relatively inexpensive terrain that works for more than one system and find the TerraLinks stuff designed for Malifaux interesting and fairly generic; the sewers etc. could easily represent canals although maybe a bit more of a steam-punk Venice. The Japanese CraftPlast stuff could also work in 2 of above (Bushido & Mercs). The MAS Infinity is good for Mercs… Time to get out the old craft knife and pay a visit to a hobby/stationery superstore!
