We couldn't have Ronnie Renton in the studio and not ask about the current state of the Kings of War range. So, true to his word, Ronnie gave us some updates and cool art to show you guys.

looks like Mantic finaly is making good looking models, those ogres look good. Not the old “help me i’m being robbe hands up inte air” type of models. Really looking forward to those
Werewolves ! Need ! 😀
Look forward to seeing you paint one 🙂
Now that’s an idea !
I’m really impressed with concepts art and the sculpts. I wonder if Mantic will ever go back and update/grade their older kits like the elves and dwarves so they match the quality of the new stuff?
They seem to look a bit more trollish than ogreish … will depend on the head options.
No, it’s just that they look like the Hordes trollkins, a little… The PP verison is a very recent new take on trolls, I assure you ! But the trollkins themselves are ogreish. I actually use the minis as ogres in my RPGs.
The GW trolls have long noses, the other type of troll (the swedish kind) is quite different and more rotund… And the D&D trolls are simply gooey, gangly and pointy green things.
Either way, I like the concepts !
Kings of War just keeps getting better and better! Horay for the wonderful accomplishments of Ronnie Renton and Mantic Games!
Glad to hear that the men at arms will be hard plastic. The more stuff in that material the better!
So happy about hard plastic men at arms. Hope they double up the numbers for the kickstarter backers that pledged for them though if they’re releasing them in hard plastic and not sprueless plastic.
had a look at the greens for the Golems and Gargyles at Matic this weekend good looking stuff
also saw a @beeroger as we where heading out the door
After seeing the bodies of the Ogers, they might be the models that get me into KoW.
Love the Werewolf concept art! I am with Romain on this one….Need! 😀
With the hardback rules book and the new, very well sculpted models Mantic’s Kings of War is my favorite gaming system. Affordable “soldiers in a box”, smart and well designed rules system and that French sculptor Remi is extraordinarily good. Thanks for Kings of War Ronnie. I appreciate the time and effort you put into your products and can not wait for the 22 waves of KoW from Kickstarter!
Between Remi and Bob Naismith making the greens, Golem painting, Alessio Cavatore and Jake Thornton on the rule writing side
It is an A Team that can equal if not better an other Notthingham based company 😉
When are we going to see the KoW battle report video that was promised ?
