Troll Forged Miniatures’ Goblins Suit Up

No there's no bro-code here this is a new set of Goblins from Troll Forged Miniatures who have developed their first regiment set using their new casting method...
These Goblins are looking pretty great. Lots of detail from what we can see here and despite the lack of stances at least they would rank up well! With the way their hats are sculpted you could possibly see these Goblins as Samurai?

For me they look like chibified orcs from the Angus McBride LOTR art: http://members.xoom.it/rhiannon/tolkien/angus_mcbride008.gif Don’t get me wrong though, I still like them – they have a good amount of face and armour variety so even being monopose to let them rank up they won’t look repetitive and static stances suit a more disciplined force if that’s the fluff you want for your army. The fact that they’re plastic is also welcome – despite being the kind that needs superglue they’ll be lighter and cheaper than metal, so it’s a real win for a small company when they can make… Read more »
