Tale of War Welcomes the Sultry Akasha de Mayfair
October 4, 2012 by brennon
Tale of War Miniatures are back with a new miniatures ready to add a touch of beauty to any graveyard situation. Check out the inviting Akasha de Mayfair below in this little diorama...
There's certainly something of the vampire about her, as evidenced by the high cheek bones and canine looking face as well as the claw marks raked into the solid stone behind her. Still, even with all these warning signs I imagine far too many adventurers and hunters have fallen to her golden locks.
The paint job really sets this miniature off and makes it a great centrepiece for a painters collection.
Will you be picking up Akasha?
Doesn’t hurt that the painting is exceptional and that is really the feature that makes the difference. No way I could do any sort of justice to that.
It’s OK @toofless I think most of us are on the same boat as you on the quality side of painting.
Rather nice mini and exceptional paint job.
Anyone know what’s happened to Tales of War’s ‘Ron and Bones’ line? Has it been scrapped? 🙁
Looks very well sculpted.
Am assuming the gate is not included, as the website simply says that a 25mm base is included.
She is leaning back on something and her hand is engraving the pillar though.
