Tale of War Follow the Way of the Samurai
November 1, 2012 by dracs
Tale of War have announced that their new master of the warrior arts, the Samurai Hiroki, is now available for pre-order.
Stylishly sculpted and with a musculature which would put Arnie to shame, this sculpt will make for an excellent leader for a warband in Bushido.
I find it a little strange that he has opted only to wear armour on his legs, shoulder and head, but I guess if your really skilled that you can sneer at those who need more protection. Although those are some odd gaps in his defences.
If you have an opinion on Tale of War's latest mini, be sure to leave us a comment telling us what you think.
Anyone know what’s happened to Tales of War’s ‘Ron and Bones’ line? They seem to be discontinued for some reason? They’re absolutely gorgeous models and they’re really hard to come by at the moment, Wayland games are heavily discounting their stock in an effort to get rid of them, I can’t seem to find another supplier as Arcane miniatures and even Coolminiornot have gotten rid of their stock too 🙁
Also the Ron and Bones website seems to be down.
It’s all quite sad, really. I was after the Grace Spinster model to finish a Mordheim Warband.
Oh, forgot to add that the above model looks really nice but I think I’ll save my moneys for some Bushido instead!
That is one sweet model.
Great sculpt, but the armour is a bit wonky. Maybe he’ll come with a few extras to cover up those pecs and washboard abs.
I think they are trying to show that he’s fighting and some of the armor has been torn off or something. I would totally paint some wounds on him.
