Sword & Board Games have a 28mm Fantasy Skirmish Game that needs some help getting started. RUNE, set in the world of Lumria allows two or more players to fight for glory, riches and more...

Sir Ronald Ashworthy Concept Art & Miniature

Unlike most Fantasy Skirmish games each faction in the world of RUNE is made up of different races all working towards a similar goal. In this way you will have Orcs, Dwarves and Humans all mixing together in a battle of brother versus brother.

Dwarf Warrior

Human Warrior

Orc Mage

The art style is pretty original, with an interesting mix of Steampunk and Fantasy. I particularly like the Dwarf, although there is no surprise there! I'm very interested to see what the other factions look like, as this could end up being a fairly awesome game.

Clockwork Construct

RUNE also boasts a game that is easy to learn and fun to play for newcomers and veterans alike, so let's hope that we see some previews of this system soon. The IndieGoGo campaign aims to bring the first faction, the Geniocracy of Toth to life but any more money raised beyond that point will help them in producing more factions and more miniatures.

While the world is suddenly saturated with Kickstarters and IndieGoGo campaigns right now, this one might be a little bit of a diamond in the rough.

See what you think by visiting the IndieGoGo page and then consider pledging to their project.
