Sword & Board Games Edit Their Shadowy Goblin
August 4, 2013 by brennon
Sword & Board Games are showing off some more of their models again but this time it's an update to a previous render. Below is first the old Shadow Hold Goblin and then the new one...
I've been having a look at the two models and as far as I can tell nothing major has changed between the two. I think one of the changes might have been in the bust of this female goblin and a little more softening of the skin to make it seem more youthful? This could just be looking a little too hard though!
Either way they have got a very nice model in the works and according to their Facebook they should be ready by the end of August.
Can you spot any changes?

The length of the mace has been shortened including the grip.
Would liked to have seen the top hand further up the grip tbh but I think it works better.
Don’t know if it is the lighting but the second picture makes the figure look much better imho
Not sure if it is intended or I am reading to much into it, but what I an getting from these figures is a sense of empathy towards them. They don’t seem baddie baddies.
There is something in their back story that makes me sympathise with them.
