Sword & Board Name Their Game & Show Off Their Elves!
July 30, 2013 by brennon
Sword & Board Games have named their fantasy game and its now called Twelve Elements of War. As well as that they have put together a Q&A about the game and shown off one of their Shadow Hold Elves...
This is another of their brainwashed Elves who is still going to be putting his deadly accuracy to great effect against those that were once his kin. It's looking good once again and if you want to find out more about the game then head on over to the link above.
The game is a a fantasy one where you take control of warbands of between eight and twelve models that are a mix of the usual fantasy race and some you might not have seen before. The Quick Start Rules will be out in November before the Kickstarter in December.
Will you be picking this up when hits?

Not too shabby that 🙂
Looking mighty sweet
Would ditch the skull on the belt buckle though.
Also seems to be aiming at someone/thing’s crotch.
Assuming that the something has a crotch. It might be a crotchless thing.
Which is not good before the watershed. Think of the kids! lol
he’s plinking hobbits
and skirmish games rock
Plinking Hobbits?
Is that not illegal in all worlds?
He could be plinking brainwashed halflings and Goblins of course
I think this game could be one to watch
Hobbit Hunting is fine, the use of hounds to harass halflings for hurling is wrong 🙂
I agree this one intrigues. The mixed bands and campaign rules off the hop are great.
Not sure the Hobbits would agree about Hobbit Hunting being fine! lol
Interesting take on “evil” style elves, a bit removed from the spikey armor plated spidery dark elves of old. I like it !
less evil elves and more just an evil elf
sounds like race no longer defines alignment which is good
Why’s he got a fence on his shoulders Apart from that very nice.
I have always been baffled by the trellising.
Seeing how the warbands are mixed race, I am assuming that it denotes the faction.
Like @talisinbear I like the idea of mixed races in the faction
TBH I like the faun a lot and would buy one and simply remove the decoration. Will be an easy job.
The “trellising” is a faction style 🙂
Work has started on the next faction. Should be able to show you all next week.
Cool! Look forward to see what’s next
ps meant to say that I would have a Faun just because and for other games.
Is my fave so far! 😀
Depending of how our Kickstarter goes later on this year we are hoping to have three different sculpts for each of the nine races per faction.
