Make A Wish & Summon The Shieldwolf Djinn

Shieldwolf Miniatures have added to their growing range of fantasy miniatures with something inspired by the Arabian Nights. Check out their Elemental Djinn below...
These Djinn are for the ever growing Araves army and are looking pretty awesome. Each of them is based off one of the four elements; fire, earth, water and air and has a neat individual style.
Of all of them I think the Water and Air Djinn are the best and the painting is pretty top notch on them. I could see these as perfect additions to a Dungeons & Dragons game as elementals.
The Djinn's also sit on 40mm bases so you could even use them as spell casters in an Ogre Kingdoms army!
What do you think of them?
Not on par with Hell Dorado genies, but nice !
Over all those are rather nice looking djinns.
I too like Hell Dorado but wouldn’t say “not on par”, Shieldwolf have more variety and much better prices.
Shieldwolf have units, and rank-and-file. They will indeed have more miniatures about when they get a few more releases out (Hell Dorado is a skirmish game, not an army game), hence more variety, probably.
I’m not comparing prices, here, but sculpts. Quality is quality. Comparing what’s comparable, I think it’s fair to say the saracens from Hell Dorado are much better sculpts than the araves from Shieldwolf… But we each must buy according to our own budget and priorities, of course !
Under that aspect, yes, I hear what you’re saying and agree with you 🙂
