Studio 38 have a new addition to their great range of Alkemy minis. This guy is definitely more than just a house cat.
As we have come to expect from Studio 38 this a nice sculpt with a really nice paint job which could easily find its way into the rpg dungeons even of people who don't play Alkemy.
Do you all like this mini? Do you think it stands up to the other minis in the Alkemy range?

I really like the original plastic/resin figures but Im not sure re these new figs- bigger pictures would help. Im glad that the game is still getting the odd release
Catpeople always make me think of Kilrathi from Wing Commander, it’s a shame they’re so rarely done in miniature form. This guy would work in sci-fi if you had a Triskelion-style arena maybe…looks pretty good.

Cat people are seldom as well done, and the oriental take on them is brilliant.
I’ve seen some up close (not this one, but most of them), and the resin casting is very good indeed.

Are the ones from Studio 38 as good as the Kraken first line for Alkemy? It’s a little hard to tell due to picture size.
As good or better… The casting is actually done with better resin, less supple, that takes on more detail. I really like them !
