Stoke the Coals with New Blacksmith’s Forge from Tabletop World
April 30, 2012 by brennon
Tabletop World, who come out with some fantastic pieces of terrain have released their new Blacksmith's Forge for you to add into your historical and fantasy war gaming. Check out this really detailed piece...
Love the amount of detail and how clean cut this piece is. Would fit right into the world of Mordheim perhaps? Could possibly have it as an objective in your skirmish games, allowing you get right inside it and fight a proper brawl within.
Will you be picking this up?
These kits are just awesome. I got the merchants house from father christmas and everything is just spot on. Detail, casting, fit … all I need to do to ruin it, is to paint it.
Wow, just wow. I’m speechless….
That was my reaction to this. Such a superb piece of terrain this.

It’s like every single brick has been carefully singled out for detailing…and it’s not just the outside that rocks. There’s narrative inside from the tools on the wall to the wash-water jug, bowl and face-cloth to the medieval-style lunch laid out after the morning’s work. This piece is so finely made it deserves to be just lovingly built and painted rather than stuck into an average game – or at least just use Dark Sword or Tercio Creativo minis with it to keep the quality level high.
You just need to put some warjack parts on the workbench and scraps outside for a awesome Iron Kingdoms terrain.
Who wouldn’t want? *drools*
That is one fine peice of scenery
Hope they have plans to make an Ale House
At one point I’ll have to get thier watch tower, when I can sneak the expense by she that rule the pursestrings 😉 All they make look stunning
I have a few of the OOP pieces, like the Abandoned (i.e. Cornish) factory, and the ruined coaching in. Add in the new Forge and some of the generic warlord ruined buildings… that’s a Mordheim board right there! As always, TTW comes through big time!
