Spread the Blight in Hordes With the Afflictor

Privateer Press have announced two new miniatures which will soon be appearing on the battlefields of Hordes.
Firstly, from the frozen wastes comes a new threat wielded by the Legion of Everblight. The Afflictor.
The Afflictor was created to use the Blight which binds the Legion together as a weapon. It stings the enemy and fills it with the pure corruptive power of the Blight, opening the way for new servants of Everblight to be born.
Moving away from this creature of the frozen north is a new warlock from the Blindwater Swamps. Rask, the self serving bog trog warlock.
This new Warlock of the minions is a sneaky fighter, typically steering clear of directly facing more powerful enemies, and instead focusing his efforts on tipping the balance in favour of his underlings, going on to steal the kill with his harpoon gun.
Both of these minis are great additions to a Hordes army, but what do you guys think of their sculpts?
How I do miss playing Starcraft.
Rask is a very nice looking scuplt!
I am disappointed… The rask looks much thicker and less elegant than the art, and the Afflictor looks like it’s a poor beast afflicted with some genitalia cancer, trying unsuccessfully to lift off its bloated tumor.
Very heavy sculpts, where something more aerial was perhaps wanted…

Oh, sorry. IMHO.
I like Rask, build does kinda fit with the bog troggs – but not as wow as the art.
The afflictor is quiet literally an ugly arsed model.
I am more or less indifferent to both models. Rask is a good sculpt, but you can tell the “gaming miniature” thresholds of design held him back. If his fins had been made thinner he would have looked much better, even if he was more prone to breakage. He’s still a presentable model with great rules so I’m sure minion players will love him. I don’t mind the afflictor like most people seem to but it’s nothing special; and I am very reluctant to buy a $15 light beast that needs a set of $30 ammo models. Lights in general… Read more »

That Rask model is gorgeous! No idea what you lot are complaining about, one of the more characterful PP models for me! 😛
The other though, looks like a 13 year old kit bashed something together to make phallic jokes on the tabletop!
Love the model and cant see what the complaints are about…!
As for stat wise, this model will drag a number of players towards Blindwater 🙂
The Rask model is beautiful and his stats are even better (spoiled in NQ and War Room if anyone wants to know). I suppose this definitely means I need that second unit of Bog Trog ambushers now.
