Spellcrow Head Back to the Forge with More Dwarves on the Way

Another preview from the world of Spellcrow today. This time its a Work-in-Progress Dwarf which I think looks utterly amazing...
I think he has a real sense of the heroic about him from the windswept beard to the far away stare under that furrowed brow. The final model will come with a variety of different weapon options but I think he should be wielding a massive pick and blacksmiths hammer. I really want this guy as a role-playing miniature!
What do you think about him?
There is some nice detail in this one. Expesially beard seems to be very detailed as it should be.
Oh my Lord that dwarf has no hands! How in heavens name can he buckel his boots?
In built grenade launchers are very handy but the poor chap can’t hold a flagon of ale!
Lovely sculpt, especially with the varied beard styles on the same mini (flowing locks and plaits). The idea of weapon options is also great for changing his personality and narrative – if you gave him a weapon with a built-in curve to take the beard into account (like a runic bat’leth, that would ROCK) he could even have a greatweapon too. I’d say the bare arms make him a potential Slayer…but he has no crest. Guess he’ll just have to be a champion in an Avatars of War Berserker regiment then… 😉
