Spartan Bring Elemental Might to the High Seas
December 1, 2011 by brennon
The last couple of weeks seem to have become the time of Uncharted Seas, and Spartan Games are continuing with these previews of some up-coming ships for the high seas. This time they come with a magical or elemental sting in the tail...
Above is the Imperial Human Elemental Ship, used to carry a magic user into battle allowing you to cast spells from right in the centre of the maelstrom.
The Dragon Lord Invoker Class Cruiser features heavy fire power to the fore and a deadly looking ram at the front. Maybe a departure from the rest of the Dragon Lord fleet allowing for some Red Ramming.
And the Thaniras Elves Thunderbird Class Storm Ship has a Lightning Generator to the centre of the ship, ready to spread havoc and hatred with every blast.
All of these new ships will be looked into in more detail come the new year.
What faction do you collect from Uncharted Seas?

All these 3d mock ups are cool, but its perfect world innit? When they actually come out you should post a side by side to see how close the actuals are to the concepts.
I personally have a few of Spartan Games models and to tell you the truth I’m really shocked at how close they do turn out. The masters must be extreme fine detail because each and every rivet to door knobs comes out in the resin cast model.
If you where to place the 3D mock up beside the real deal I think you will be pleased.
Thanks! I really like the Thaniras Elves Thunderbird Class Storm Ship. Very Nemo. Has me thinking. The only game like this I ever got into was Battlefleet Gothic. I really enjoyed it, so this has me interested.
……..and I see even the usually spelling perfect manpug needs an edit button on this one! 🙂
Manpug is right, the actual models are as far as my eyes can tell exact replica’s of the 3D previews. With the relaunch of Uncharted Seas I went out to replace my old Orc Raider ships with the new versions and the leap in detail was incredible. Bit sad my Iron Dwarves won’t be recieving the replace treatment as I simply had too many models for it already to justify that 🙂
