To Role Play, or Not To Role Play. That is the Question

Was surfing the web today when this new role playing from Magpie Games caught my attention. In this game all the world's a stage... and you write the script.
Yup, its a story driven rpg, not merely based around the world of Shakespeare's plays, but about putting on and re-working/butchering the playwrights greatest works.
In The Play’s The Thing, one player takes on the role of the Playwright, the writer and director of the Play, and the rest of you portray Actors (Hams, Leads, Villains, and Ingenues) who are cast in roles. As you work your way through the Acts of the Play, you’ll suggest changes that the Playwright has to incorporate into the work, making The Bard’s stories even better. - Drive Thru RPG
I wish this had been around back when I was studying The Taming of the Shrew, could have finally got Katherina to punch Petruchio in his smug face.

That appears to be enough. Chibi has finally snapped and gone even more odd than his avatar Happi. Typically Natsu is absent to put him in his place. I’ll fetch the straight jacket….
Actually this product would only appeal I think to those totally lost in RP land. I have a rep as an RP player in the games I play but I think this one would be a struggle even for me. Soun ds like a ‘bard’ concept. (Runs away quickly)
