Antimatter Games have unveiled a great new piece of artwork for Deep Wars. If this is the kind of thing we can expect to see from this game count me in.
Their Kickstarter project has now hit $15, 955, meaning we will be seeing more website development and even some music to listen to while gaming.
As of me writing this (8:10pm GMT) there are 6 hours to go on the Kickstarter project, so if you want to get involved with getting this game off the ground head on over now.
There really is some beautiful artwork involved with this game, it does a great job of immersing you in the game world. The problem is, can they make some resin terrain along these lines for it? Only I wouldn’t even like to TRY scratchbuilding that…though you can get lots of shapes and sizes of shells at least…
If the game picks up enough momentum among the players, we might see some dedicated terrain from another manufacturer or even from Antimatter Games. But I think most of the terrain that’s on the market will be fine for Deep Wars, as the terrain will be affected more how it is painted than their actual shapes.
