Scibor Provide Bases of a Bygone Dwarfen Age
April 13, 2012 by dracs
Scibor have released a new selection of square bases for you to set your Dwarf forces amidst the ruins of their glorious past.
These aren't bad sculpts which would definitely add a degree of character to your minis, although I think the sheer height of them is maybe a little over the top.
Also is it just me or does that dwarf statue have an Elvis style DA quiff?
Do any of you think you might use these to show off your miniatures?

Thats some serious bases. Good for your heroes.
I like those for terrain rather than bases
Could make for a very atmospheric ancient Dwarven ruins for battlegames or dungeon crawlers.
a bit tall for your hero to do the one foot on a rock pose
Any dwarven lord on top of one of those in a game is always going to look like he’s saying “They couldn’t hit a Stonehorn at this dist-” but for display or as terrain bits these have lovely texture mixes from smooth carved faces to worn and ruined rock. Perhaps for the shorter bases you could count the height of the plinth as the actual area the hero occupies.
