Reaper Minis’ Special Edition Wizard
November 24, 2011 by dracs
Reaper Minis have added a whole load of new miniatures to their range this week, along with a new special edition wizard figure.
If any of the guys from Reaper are reading this please put up more pics of your miniatures painted because they look fantastic when you do.
I really like this model. He would not look out of place in an Empire force, possibly as a Grey wizard, or even just as part of a diorama.
Along with this guy Reaper have a whole host of new releases for you to get excited about. Check them out.
Coloti, Bloodstone Gnome
G'rond, Dwarf Assassin
Dramorion, Dark Elf Sorcerer
Evshyvandra Duskwidow, Dark Elf Warrior
Zonkers, Killer Klown
Male Mad Scientist
Undead Outlaw
Annazian, Female Pit Fighter
Love the limited edition wizard, very cool stuff.
Undead outlaw…. I wonder if Andy could work one into his favourite western game 😉
If you’re stuck for a fantasy RPG character figure and you haven’t tried Reaper, I have to question your sanity… 😉
The clown stands out for me, it’s like he’s saying ‘Well I COULD use this water to put the bomb out, but where’s the FUN in that?’
ZOMBIE COWBOY! Very cool! KILLER CLOWN! Im a coulrophobe so NOT COOL!
You’re gonna FLOAT…
😉
Great classic old school wizard. I like the high contrast paint on the robes. Great example of moving from deep shadow to very bright highlights. I think, but I am not sure, that the crystal ball is actually painted.
@willy2fly – Check this out.

Makes me think of doing a diorama of Imperial Guard cowering and running away, while the clown is staring them down.
I like the fact that the minis on the website are unpainted. It means we know what we’re getting. I’d like to see more painted stuff, but I hope they keep the unpainted pics up.
Me, I like both. 🙂
