Reaper Miniatures Reveal Their New Wave of Releases
May 2, 2012 by brennon
Reaper Miniatures are back with another Wave of Miniatures for their myriad array of systems. Check them out below and see what you think...
Pathfinder...
Savage Worlds...
Warlord...
Dark Heaven...
That is a fair amount of fantasy fodder. Plenty of heroes to scour the dungeons of your fantasy realms and monsters to populate them too. I'm quite liking the Skinsaw Cultist and my immediate thought was to draft him into some game of Carnevale in one faction or another.
What do you think of this new wave of releases?
I like those Pathfinder models a lot. Those are great looking models. Others are also good but not as good as onces for Pathfinder.
Was looking at these yesterday, was trying to justify to myself buying the dwarf and griffon. Excellent model and nice twist on a griffon.
I like the pathfinder line they have. I’m also glad they got a good painter to show us what you can do with their models.
It’s not just the Skinsaw Cultist that would work in Carnevale – check out the fig below that, she’s got a mask perfect for a flamboyant masked ball thrown by one of those Patrician types…
Viorian Dekanti is my fave however, she looks like a good solid paladin mini and the banded look of her armour would be perfect for painting in alternate gold and silver for a really ornate feel. The NMM on her here isn’t the smoothest I’ve seen but it’s a good job nonetheless.
Jackalope; it’s what’s for dinner.
I have noticed that a lot of Reaper minis can be used for Skyrim miniatures. For example, the Skinsaw Cultist here could be used as a Dark Brotherhood Jester. I’m always thinking of new possibilities 🙂
Make brilliant chaos and elf characters too. I think that majority of both my wood elf and chaos army characters are reaper. Nicer sculpts and cheaper to boot
