Reaper Miniatures’ Bones Kickstarter One Day Left!
August 24, 2012 by brennon
The Reaper Miniatures Bones Kickstarter has been a roaring success with it smashing its $30,000 target and heading way above $2,000,000! There is still time however to pledge that little extra and get in on the amazing goodies they have to offer...
As you can probably tell this image is so chock full of miniatures that it's too big for our news column! Give it a click and check out the full list of miniatures you get for just $100!
And that's not all. You can add in even more miniatures for a few extra dollars, making this one a great set of rewards for lovers of Reaper Miniatures and adding to your dungeon menagerie.
Have you pledged to Reaper Miniatures Kickstarter?
If not go and do it now!
Yeah the Vampire level deal is simply amazing, even if you have to pay $25 to get it shipped over here to the UK. I just wish I had $100 I could drop on these excellent minis!
I am very happy for reaper. They have been doing great things for years and it looks like this is their breakout hit. I don’t envy how much work it will take to fulfill all those pledges though, I hope they don’t drown in their own success.
Take heed miniatures companies: high value, high quality, plastic models have a very high appeal. Maybe it’s time everybody else looked at their production and pricing.
An insanely good deal.
That’s pretty awesome and a great deal!
Cannot believe the value of the Vampire deal, too good to resist. Now you can also swap the Sophie model out for another $25 worth of options thats the big undead dragon heading my way as well. Agree only $25 shipping to UK makes it even more compelling. Looks like I’ll have an avalanche of plastic next year now, but an empty wallet thanks to Mantic and Reaper 😉
I have pledged, at the rate I paint these minis will keep me going for about a decade, also it gives me an excuse to start some form of RPG. I’ll also be swapping Sophie, the only question now is giants or dragons.
This is a bit of a no brainer for me, the only slight anxiety I have with the whole process is what her majesty’s excise and duty brigade will make out of all of this, something in the region of £20 I think.
It’s a horrible comparison to what U.S citizens get but then even with the added costs of being an international the deal is still an incredible valve for money offer.
A great deal, to be sure !
Some of those pledges take care of your RPG miniature needs for a lifetime, probably…
I dislike pre-primed miniatures, though.
For the money involved, I’m sure you can forgive ’em!
are they actually pre primed?..i thought they where a plastic pvc that didn’t need primer to paint
This just seems to good to be true. My mind can just (that just is very small) grasp the amount of models in this kick starter. I see no reason for anyone other than being cashless to not back this up. I admit I looked at the kick starter page for a good hour and forced myself to leave before it became my entire day. I’m in love with this model line.
This deal is absolutely mental for the gaming community. It’s great to see a gaming company do so much for its customers!!
I jumped in for $140 in the last few hours, it was getting too good to pass up.
BoW and the gang…
Here’s a suggestion:
Why not run a weekly or monthly article covering the latest miniature related kickstarter/indiegogo ventures to raise awareness and keep tabs of development whilst these projects are ongoing, I for one would be grateful to be able to find all of this information in one spot, Beastsofwar.com!
The drive is over – for $295 US I am pledged for:
Vampire.
Fire Giant King & Queen
Ebonwrath
Frost Giant King & Queen
Mind Your ‘Manors’
There Be Dragons
Demons
Deathsleet
Undead Giant
Clockwork Dragon
Spider Centaurs
Fire Giant Warriors
Deep Dwellers
Nethermaul
Hydra
Kaladrak Reborn
Cthulhu
Because of the misunderstanding with Jen (one of my Pathfinder/Spycraft players) I also have $3 pledged for Nekkid Sophie instead of regular – I will probably just add $15 and get the undead paint set instead of the Nekkid Sophie.
The Auld Grump
Im finding all these cool deals going really frustrating- the biggest issue is that right now I just dont have the cash to support them all.
Bones
C of C Horror on the Orient Express
Mantic KoF W and Dread ball
Red box minis
Dwarf box thingie
etc etc
I really wanted in on the Bones offer but I just didnt have a spare $125 lying around
@trebormills I agree, there are way too many simultaneous kickstarters right now and it prevented me from contributing to this. These smaller miniature companies need to communicate with their competition and coordinate their kickstarters so we aren’t flooded like this. It may sound odd, but industry collaboration should not be an alien concept when it can benefit everyone.
I hear you may still be able to pledge via a reaper hosted pledge manager…sounds interesting and gives me 7-14 days to see If I can find cash
massive congrats to Reaper…a truly exciting kickstarter! and they broke over 3 million! incredible! If I wasnt so financially poor right now, I would of totally gone for it! but instead I will just be happy for those that did pledge – those folk are gonna get a mountain of awesomeness!
