The mighty bosses of the Beasts of Waaagh consider the more elite units for their Orcs & Goblins forces. Have Games Workshop given these mighty green warriors anything new... let's find out!

So about 5:10 I started looking at that tree under Darrell thinking “that looks like a big pile of boyz”. BoW’s Orc Week actually has me seeing orcs in the trees. Well done lads, I think you’ve given me tabletop PTSD. 😛
Aaaah youre killing me here… Doom Diver does D6 str 5 on the entire unit it hits ( preferbly heavy cavalry or the likes) and the stone throwers str 9 D6 wounds is on the center of the template… One person/elf/whatever gets it..The rest under the template gets a lousy str 3 hit 1 wound…Wich means a 4+ to wound in most cases… Elves beware, all other…. well they shrug it off leaving one red spot behind them as they advance and kick your arse…
Doom diver ftw
Once again you prove your wisdom!
I would attack the manglers with zombies
Or if you’re playing green-on-green attack them with fanatics and watch the giblets fly!
maybe a bit expensive 🙂
– Warlord, green-things are sending out Mangler squigs!
– Mangler squigs? Send slaves, quick-quick!
I like the giants…..almost all of the time I use two…the enemy try to kill it fast with shots and magic….so…the main big units dont recive any damage until they destroy the enemy line….my plan is to use 2 giants and 1 spider….3 Big units to shot it!!!
squig manglers sound fun, totally getting a dozen of them just for the fun in total carnage
Im without a doubt the nitpicker of this waagh… You cannot ( Im 98% sure of this ) intentionally move into basecontact with the manglers to elliminate them…. If you touch theire base its a charge, and the only way to get within 1″ of them and touch the base is by declaring a charge…. And they cannot be charged…. So you would have to be something with random movement,a fleeing unit running into them or something up that alley… Am I wrong on this?
Interesting, have never heared that argument before.. At first i was gonna say no, it doesn’t say this in its rule,.. but then I realised you where revering to the main rulebook. You might have something here.. interesting, interesting indeed. But, would this also count for fanatics though?
I would say so yes…. You cannot charge a fanatic. At least it says so in the now old O&G book under “force of destruction”
Now I have to say I havent read the new one so my comment on the manglers is based upon BoW-guys talking saying it cannot be charged but you can move into contact with them..
I would say no. you’re right with the rules, but if you can’t walk into them to get rid of ’em, they are far to overpowered for only 65 point.
anyone hear the second of humming at 20.18?
I’m with Darrell on the arachnarok legs: they really should make it have a big enough base or a smaller model…
Mine fits on the base just fine, don’t know what I did right or yall did wrong..
well i don’t have one, but it looks as if it does not actually fit on its base :/ Did you glue the front legs rearing up or something? The front legs in particular are way over the edge of the base which is why it appears badly designed.
Talking about the Stoneloppars – unless we are talking a Grand Army 3 is the max for any one kind of Rare
Please upload this clip again.
