Plast Craft Begin Building Carnevale’s Twisted Venice
March 21, 2013 by dracs
The announcement that Plast Craft would be making a range of terrain for Carnevale was one which provoked considerable excitement for all us lovers of the Renaissance Cthulhu game, Well I checked back today and saw that we have had our first glimpse at some of the pieces under construction.
I think I am safe in saying that these look very promising and should hopefully allow us to create an authentic looking setting for our games of Carnevale.
My hope is that in the future we should start seeing pieces like the Rialto Bridge or the Doge's Palace, as these are pieces which everyone associates with Venice.
How do you guys think Venice is shaping up?

WHOA!!!! SWEET!! That is great stuff.
I need another wargame like I need a hole in the head, but this scenery makes Carnevale that bit extra-droolsome.
That scenery looks very good imho

I like to see this. Terrain makers teaming up with a figure manufacturer it makes the game you imagine or want it to be a reality.
Chibi, that video left me wanting to see a very thick tentacle rising out of the water and snatching the ice-cream away from this two 🙂
Cthulhu a cornetto fan then?
I scream you scream we all scream
Never mind the ice cream!
Will be too scared to ever be able to eat a Cornetto ever again, Thanks for that Vesper! lol
It’s long been known that major food corporations are little more than funding arms for cults. The swirly patterns in a Cornetto are a blatant tentacle motif.
And don’t get me started on the Kraft R’lyeh Assortment …
Just one Khornetto
ps Got distracted by the nonsense.
Forgot to say how spankingly good the terrain looks.
This game is starting to shape up very well. I can see this terrain used in all sorts of games as well.
It’s looking very cool. I wish it didn’t… I’ll have a hard time resisting. I imagine the terrain was no small barrier to getting a lot of interested folks actually into the game.
There are so many great products out now and coming soon, it’s becoming more and more difficult to focus on just one or two (or three or four…) game lines.
I totally agree with you. 😛 lol
That terrain does look awesome. 😀 That’s the beauty of Plastcraft’s stuff… it’s got a nice degree of versatility to it.
