Paving the Path to the Grave with Titan Forge
March 8, 2012 by brennon
With the Flesh Reapers yesterday and a love of the undead at the moment with Warhammer Fantasy and the Vampire Counts, maybe these Graveyard Bases from Titan Forge could be something to add to your collection and give it a bit of character.
This first set is 20x20 and includes a filler piece for a little bit of difference. Would love to have some shambling zombies around that statue to offset how pristine white it is.
There is also a 40x40 set for your larger undead beasties. However why just mount undead on these? You could have a set of Empire troopers dedicated to Morr ready to repel the dead. Maybe a Skaven force that has made the graveyard its home. Could even use it in Historical gaming. Maybe your Infantry forces are moving in through a blown to pieces graveyard?
Plenty of uses, let your imagination go wild.
That’s a fair bit of clutter to get through – pins in the feet needed I think, unless you use just the torso of a zombie or skeleton as though it’s bursting from the disturbed graveyard. Nice detailing though and the statue base could be used on its own with Vargheists/Crypt Horrors if the wings (on the base or the model) don’t get in the way.
Those are very nice bases.
They look nice but can a mini be placed on them sturdy? I think with some of them yes but a few it might be a challenge.
Yup last time I walked through a graveyard I kept tripping over some old round things scattered all over the ground.
oh yeah, they were conkers not konks! lol.
Okay mark me down again, I care not
Frikkin more skullz
Geez I know it is fantasy, I know it is a graveyard but come on!
What is the matter with these designers.
At least give us a humorous and I won’t dig you in the ribs about it all the time! lol
