A Painted Nuem Stalks out of Tor Gaming
April 17, 2012 by brennon
Check out this pretty amazingly painted Nuem from Tor Gaming, painted by the folks at Worthy Painting no less for the game of Relics!
The Nuem are a new faction for the Relics game from Tor Gaming. They are certainly looking like they could prove a little bit of a problem for the other factions in the game. I love the mix of the mechanical and the macabre in these models and the paint scheme just adds to the dark feeling oozing from this model.
What do you make of the painted Nuem?

Thats very sinister looking model.
The Nuem look great, well done Gavin on behalf of everyone involved.
Good work by Worthy too, they have some well painted interpretations of the Relics figures
I want an attachable front so they can double for steampunk games lol
Wow they look just like what I imagined them to look like. Good model line they have.
Lots of great things blended into this model – it’s a chibified Big Daddy with hints of CSM in the paint job and shoulder pads plus the Doctor Who-style head on life support reminds me of Krang from TMNT. Thing is though…it’s actually Relicia’s version of a dwarf. See the runic design on the shoulders and the squat overall look? The Vaettir have pointy ears and magic (elves), the Britanans are animated puppets (undead) and the Orcnar…well that’s obvious. 😉 A truly innovative re-imagining of the standard fantasy races I think, and if future models look like this the Nuem… Read more »
The Britanans are actually our Human race. There will be Human models for them in the near future.
Our Undead are called the Naedra (I think I spelt that right….) and they will be a race of necromantic reptiles….. Duh duh dddduuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But they won’t come out until after the C’thu (ummm, based on Cthulu) and the Ridend (our Goblins)
Zombie lizards? Oh yes please! 🙂 Sounds like a lot of sweet things are coming for Relics. I’m curious to see those real humans (assuming they’re humans as we know them…) though, I’m guessing they’ll be puppet masters (literally) rather than soldiers?
Whatever they are, I bet they’ll never be as cute as Britanan puppets… 😉
Respect for not doing the same boring overdone depictions of the same boring old tropes and actually making a fantasy game that has some strong imagination and creativity in it.
Thanks, we really appreciate that.
Just got myself a Britanan army “in a bag” deal. I can definitively say im in love with the little blighters 😉
Thank you Tor Gaming for shooting me up with your finest shiny!
Pleasure. 😉
Thanks for your kind words guys. And thanks to Worthy Painting for some outstanding work with the brushes.
More news on that front very very soon.
Naedre 😉

Looks like Bioshock meets Chaos space marine, I like it.
