Otherworld Miniatures Celebrate 5th Anniversary
September 7, 2011 by dracs
Congratulations to Otherworld Miniatures who are celebrating their 5th Anniversary? How are they going to celebrate? By bringing out a conversion pack for their Daemon Idol figure.
Here's the original Daemon Idol model.
Now here's what the conversion pack will allow you to do.
This is a rather nice direction to take as it allows the miniature to become a great little diorama or even the centre piece for a scenario in your fantasy wargames.
What do you guys thinks of this? Do you feel like putting together a bit of blasphemous thievery?
For some reason I think Indiana Jones when I see this.
Doesn’t everyone? Although Cohen the Barbarian also springs to mind. Discworld is never far from my mind.
It’s the cover art for the 1st edition AD&D Dungeon Master’s Guide brought to life in glorious 3D 🙂
Very cool – and very old school 🙂
Brilliantly old school some might say. A really nice little kit and would be proud to have it – would just ask someone with better painting skill to colour it lol.
You realize how old you are when something that stands out so markedly in your memory is unknown to so many others. Stop making me feel old, Youth of Today! 🙂
As far as I can tell, Otherworld’s entire line is first ed DnD MM, with the exception of this monumental piece. Hopefully they’ll come out with the PH cover. Epic!
I LOVE this line.
That is the PH cover. I have it in front of me now. What you also need is the dead lizardmen in front 🙂
