Myth and Dwarven Legend from Center Stage Miniatures
June 12, 2012 by brennon
You know me, I don't pass up an opportunity to talk about Dwarves! Center Stage Miniatures have a new hero for your dungeon crawling adventures as well as a pair of grim Celtic Giants both in resin!
This Dwarven Artificer would be a perfect adventuring hero for a game of Dungeons & Dragons. Maybe he could be a Runepriest from Players Handbook Three?
And these grim gentlemen are Firbolgs, or Celtic Hill Giants. I like their hunched, old stance when contrasted with their rather large swords showing there's still some strength in those old giant bones. Perfect dungeon enemies ready to stride through the minions and lay waste to your poor adventurers!
I'm really starting to love the models from Center Stage Miniatures and can't wait to see what's next.
What do you think?

The Artificer is pretty cool, the face has the look of a character in an animated series and he’s in leathers rather than chainmail which gives a feeling of individuality compared to the organised, military feel of armour. Loving the giants too – between the leaning stance and lack of hair the one on the left could be the older version or father of the one on the right. I’d like an idea of scale on those though.
Its not often you you see Firbolgs made. Good on them for make them. That dwarf looks nice as well.
They look excellent, I love these.
A non knuckle scraping dwarf is always good and the Firebolgs are just so nicely done imho
Well done Nicholas Genovese.
I am liking look of all of these sculpts. Its great to see dwarf who is not in heavy armor. How ever those firbolgs take the cake from those. Althought they look old thet also look like force to be recond with.
