Morrigan and Wrath of Nature Join Anima Tactics
December 20, 2011 by dracs
Cipher Studios have shipped out two new impressive miniatures for their Anima Tactics range.
First is the hulking Wrath of Nature.
An incarnation of Gaia, it can be summoned to serve a powerful magic practitioner.
Alongside this is Morrigan, Lady of Space and Time.
Reportedly one of the nine great daemon queens, Morrigan will definitely be a valuable asset to the Samael faction.
Both of these minis were painted by the talented Ángel Giráldez. Check out some of these other Cipher Studios minis he has painted.
I think you'll agree that this is some pretty impressive painting.
So guys what do you think of these? Do you like the look of the minis? Are you tempted to include them in your own games?

Be sure to check out some of the deCiphered articles Cipher Studios have up. Not that I have a personal stake in them at all…

lol WTH is that green thing, it looks like something from sesame street, on fire, on LSD. Crazy!
Woo I want Morrigan to extract some revenge on my daughter’s Churchies! lol
Sometimes the AT figures don’t quite match up to the super artwork and tbh I did not think Morrigan would be an easy one to model, but looking at the picture thay have done an excellent job.
The Wrath is pretty amazing and the rest of the releases are not too bad at all imho
Hmmmm, Wrath of Nature as a Treeman? Seeing lots of potential! Love all of Anima Tactics stuff and even just purchased the Dark Faction starter to give it a go.
The Wrath of Nature reminds me of a movie princess mononoke. It had a rather killer nature god in it. For some reason I can’t find a clip of it on youtube so you can all see what I mean.
Not seen Princess Mononoke for ages but I know what you mean
Manpug: I can totally see it. just needs to be translucent and blue. LOL
Now if only they had clear cast versions it could be done.
The Wrath of Nature model really is spectacular. I have not seen anything quite like it. It’s what I imagine would be the result of a nature avatar / elemental summoned straight from an Irish grassy meadow. It’s too bad they didn’t put an image of an unpainted sculpt up with the painted version. The grass is definitely sculpted, but I still wonder how much of the effect is paint vs sculpt. Angel is so dang talented you cant tell if details are 3d or 2d. On Morrigan, I wish the sculptor would have tried to capture the physical gesture… Read more »
Lynn and Valentina are really stunning models. Morrigan is a very ambitious and ridiculously well executed model of course, but the subtleties of Lynn and Valentina call to my brush like a siren song.
Awesome models. Morrigan looks amazing and Wrath of Nature is also very nice. I am impressed.
I like that last one. I wonder if I could use her for Infinity.
It take a lot to make me want to paint girls… I am really picky about that, a pair of boobs isn’t enough. These are TREMENDOUSLY GOOD. I really want to paint them, but I’m afraid I can’t do them justice !
