Model Display Products Unleash Some Titanic Beasts
April 24, 2013 by brennon
Model Display Products have a selection of mighty monsters for you to enjoy! Check out their Giant, Hydra and Treeman below and find a way to use them in your games...
Now those are some fantastic looking creatures right out of artwork you'd see in the most expansive of monster manuals. It's hard to tell the scale with these since it isn't mentioned but they do look rather titanic.
In any case they would be perfectly awesome on the tabletop or as enemies for a role-playing game. I particularly like the Treeman with his spindly arms and the knotted tree muscles.
Would you grab one of these?
Off topic saw this on the website:

A mate of mine bought one from a model show. I meant to post in News and Rumours but stupid memory played its tricks again.
The casting is excellent
The hydra could use some variety of heads imho
The treeman’s face is not to my tastes but I do like the use of branches
The giant is probably my favourite but at £50 will have to pass, but it just seems to lack something I can’t put my finger on. Might just be the fact that I can’t afford it anyway! lol
Good, but not 50 pounds good. I’ll pass as well. Living in a forest as I do, I make my own tree figures out of branches anyway.
That Giant looks particulary great. Both Hydra and Treeman are also good.
Somethings odd about that giant. I think the arms are a little thin. Besides that, I like the stuff he has on him.
Yeah I know what you mean.
Although I don’t mind that the limbs are thin per se, that is fine with me.
But they just look anatomically unconvincing. There needs to be bones and some muscle.
The biceps don’t look quite right to me.
To be fair am not sure that the figures have been fully assembled with joins filled and sanded but they do look a tad off imho.
Again am left feeling this could have been a really super sculpt but somehow the parts don’t quite come together. There is some nice originality which I like
