What Do you Get When you Mix Diablo III and a Talented Sculptor?

While this isn't strictly wargaming news, I had to show you these superb looking Diablo III sculptures from Samo Kramberger on DeviantArt. Check out the Barbarian, Monk and Demon Hunter below...
These resin models stand between 28cm and 34cm. Not only has he done a great job on the sculpts but the painting is pretty top notch too. It has also sparked an idea within me about how awesome a Diablo miniatures game would actually be!
Maybe Fantasy Flight Games could give us a cool board game?
What do you think of these Diablo III heroes?
Thats some nice models even if I don’t play the game. The Barbarian if the model I like the most. I can see this guy leading a Chaos force .
You know I am not going to correct the negative karma.
I shall let it stand to the testimony of the poor form and ill judgement of the person that gave a thumbs down to a perfectly good post.
I was surprised to see the scale. Thought they would be 54mm at least, especially in the context of the Diablo III franchise.
Most excellent work.
I know what you talking about. I was sure the scale was bigger but to my surprise its not. That’s a good thing in my books… not to say bigger scale is bad it’s just more likely to be used in games 28 and lower.
That Barbarian is exelent, I could see a few uses for him and a nice female assassin that don’t show everything (I’m looking at you Banelords and CMoN)
I would pick all 3 up even with out the Diablo 3 logo
From those three great looking models Barbarian has best pose while Demon Hunter and Monk have more static poses.
Brilliant sculpts – really characterful and capturing the look of the game. A few monsters would be great – would love to see what this guy could do with the skeleton king or the goatmen. If he ever does a diablo…..
Also reminisant of my in game characters – perfectly still due to lag 🙁
oh and plus many Interwebz points for the ffg idea Brennon
